Visit the children

Meet the kids and learn about the project first-hand

Updated: Oct 2019

With a genuine interest and a scheduled appointment, you are welcome to visit the Dew Drops Little Flower’s Beijing facility. Located in just outside the city in semi-rural Changping District, the facility houses dozens of infants and children with complex medical needs.

When visiting you’ll need to take special precautions to maintain a safe and cleanly environment — just some simple common-sense preparations to avoid introducing any yucky germs. So schedule a day when you’re in good health, wash your hands when you arrive, and consider wearing a classic Beijing breathing mask.

To make an appointment for a friendly, fun, and informative visit — simply email Dew Drops and say why your what you’d like to learn and when you’re available.

Volunteer with the kids

Open your heart to kids with complex medical conditions

Updated: Oct 2019

There are various impactful ways you can offer our heart to help children with complex medical conditions.

To start off, sign up for a temporary or one-time volunteer position — find a time to go and play with the kids, or help organize a special event. Dew Drops is open to ideas for different kinds of events, like activities to offer the kids learning and excitement or fundraisers in Beijing’s city center.

If you’re ready to participate longer-term, sign up as a representative — helping out with hands-on care for the children, ramping up fundraising outreach, or other important administrative tasks.

Given the variety and complex nature of each child’s illnesses, medical specialists are most in demand — especially those with pediatric or therapeutic accreditation.

To learn more about specifics, visit the Dew Drops’ volunteer page, or drop Dew Drops an email.

Mission 🙏

For children abandoned at birth — born premature or with an uncommon illness. For families who can not afford medical expenses to treat their newborn’s condition. Dew Drops Little Flower is saving grace.

Dew Drops Little Flower provides medical assistance, infant care, and complete support services for medically fragile orphans and children from disadvantaged families.

Newly established in 2017, Dew Drops is a specialized project operating in close association with China Little Flower, a long standing USA-China charity — and in partnership with China Charities Aid Foundation for Children (CCAFC), in order to collaborate with China state-run orphanages.

Based in Beijing at the Jingdu Children’s Hospital and a standalone facility in Changping District, Dew Drops runs orphan care centers — fully equipped and staffed to meet the needs of each child’s unique condition, and to foster healthy emotional development as the children grow.

Dew Drops’ family support center guides parents of a child with a special condition through the difficulties of finding the right treatment. Caregiving education, professional advice, advocacy with institutions, financial assistance, and direct medical care. Dew Drops helps parents make informed decisions and get the best possible medical care.

Simply awe-inspiring. For Dew Drops, no child is a lost cause — they continue treatment until each child is healthy and stable.
